MDS Celebrates 25 years with Anniversary Ball
1986 - 2011
Management Development Services (MDS) Ltd is celebrating 25 years of recruiting and training graduates for the Food and Fresh Produce Industry.
MDS has trained over 250 trainees with many still working within the industry.
To mark this event, MDS held an Anniversary Ball on Saturday 29th October and invited all former trainees, current trainees, directors, tutors and member company colleagues to the Peterborough Marriott Hotel to join the celebration.
The MDS team were delighted that Adam Henson from BBC 1’s Countryfile joined guests to celebrate the continued successes of the program. Adam spoke during the evening of his experiences in the industry, working on his farm as well as for the BBC. Adam’s support and enthusiasm for young talented people to join the industry and the career they could enjoy, definitely gave a focus to the ball and a cause for celebration.
Doug Henderson, Chairman of MDS reminded us that at the 20 year anniversary ball MDS announced the launch of the Postgraduate Certificate accredited by Harper Adams. In the last 5 years the PgC has been a huge success with now 5 groups graduating with the qualification. Doug was delighted to announce that this year MDS launches a new 3 year Crop Agronomy Program for graduates wishing to train as agronomists.
The ball was a superb opportunity for former and current trainees to reunite as well as meeting up with member company contacts.
Please find below photos of guests enjoying the evening.
