They have invested heavily in the most modern plant production facilities in the UK, and are leading the industry with innovative, sustainable and efficient manufacturing practices.  They are recruiting for a Technical & Quality Manager to take ownership of the team, for both technical plant products and quality control for Double H.

The Role

Double H are looking for a Technical & Quality Manager who will have full responsibility for their technical plant products and quality control across the business. You will take the lead on plant technical matters aligned to their customer needs, agreeing plant specifications which are accurate, achievable and communicated to the wider business to ensure compliance. You will work closely with growers and producers to review crops and production to ensure their technical requirements are met. This role will require some European travel.

Quality control is an important part of the business, ensuring plants are within specification or agreed temporary specification is key. You will take the lead on working closely with customers, including major supermarkets.  You will support the business in conducting audits, leading continuous improvement, maintaining compliance standards whilst driving process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

The Person
