MDS Shortlisted for FPC Awards

The FPC Awards are back this September, a prestigious recognition of excellence in the fresh produce industry, and this year MDS couldn’t be more delighted to share that we’ve been shortlisted for not one, but two different categories.

Our nomination for the Best Place to Work category reflects the dedication and tireless efforts of our team and the collective commitment to supporting the agri-food and fresh produce supply chain and striving for excellence in all that we do.

Rising Stars

The spotlight is also on our Trainees and their exceptional talent and dedication to MDS. We’re proud to announce that George Strainge and Louise Brooks, have also been shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star’ category. Their journey exemplifies the level of talent and dedication we cultivate here at MDS.

Neither of these Trainees are strangers to awards. George was the proud recipient of the Doug Henderson Award at the MTT Awards in June. This award, the pinnacle of recognition and achievement on the MDS programme, is established to honour excellence in performance, leadership qualities, personal achievements, and significant impact within a Member company. George’s exceptional performance and potential make him one to watch.

Louise Brooks, another one of our exceptional trainees, has been honoured with two Rising Star Awards over the course of her MDS journey. the MDS Rising Star Award in February. Her recognition underscores the culture of excellence we foster here at MDS, highlighting the quality of our trainees and the promising futures they have in the industry.

Industry Collaboration

The FPC awards will also be an opportunity to cheer on the MDS alums and member companies featured on many of the award shortlists. A noteworthy mention is Hannah Finch, an MDS alumna now working at Ethical Food Company. Her nomination in the ‘Rising Star’ category is a testament to the promising futures our trainees carve out in the industry.
