Who are Dyson Farming?
Dyson Farming is a family-owned business, with a vision to benefit future generations through a commitment to commercially viable and environmentally sustainable food production at scale. We strive to be industry leaders in efficient, carbon neutral, high technology food production, employing highly skilled, pioneering people and supported by research and development in ever-closer partnership with our parent company, Dyson. We see the future of agriculture as an exciting opportunity to improve the nation’s food security, health, and economic growth.
- Be different
- Take responsibility
We grow commodity crops just like the 200,000 other farms in the UK. And we will continue to do so to ensure food security in our country. But our values will help us to innovate and lead the way on sustainable agriculture. Our values are not generic or manufactured. They are a direct result of who we are, and where we have come from. They help us build and maintain a culture of direction, clarity and integrity – essential if we want to stay ahead.
Life with Dyson Farming
We begin each day with the aforementioned goals in mind, these are mapped to our competencies and therefore guide the behaviours of our people. They can help us to be successful, and should be embedded, in our attitudes, our actions, and our decisions. By living the values, we grow more nutritious and better tasting food, develop new ways of working, and discover new ways to engage with our consumers. But to successfully do this, we must never be satisfied, never giver up, never stop innovating and never standstill.
We are committed in investing in young people, especially those that are interested in a careers in agriculture, food production or retail and providing unique development opportunities within the section. Our business is expanding quickly, and we want to build relationships with talented, high achievers that may be the leaders of the future. The types of secondments we may offer in the future are commercial, production, projects etc.
